I cannot believe I have a 9 month old, I cant imagine having a toddler, throwing her a 1 year Bday party... she is getting so big.. I miss my cuddly newborn! Don't get me wrong, I'm sooo loving watching her grow up, and learn and experience new things, but she is such a little busy body!
She is now crawling all over the place and pulling herself up on everything!!
She is walking along things, while holding on
She has one bottom tooth, and we can feel the top ones starting.
She loves pasta.. we went to apple bees and decided to have her taste some, and she wouldn't stop! haha lets just say we shared a meal! After that, we started to have her try the foods we were eating, and now that's all she wants! When we were in Montana we got to us one of those baby food grinders, and I don't know why I have not invested in one yet! It was so easy, and she got to eat a lot of the good stuff we were eating, and she loved it!
Harper has quite the personality already, and has mastered the throwing fit part of not getting what she wants. It can only get better right? haha
She is always so happy and giggly for the most part, smiles and squeals and babbles constantly!
She loves her Aunt McKenzie.. she is just drawn to her for some reason, and when shes around, mom is soo out of the picture.
She growls.. and will copy you if you make some sort of growling sound. Hilarious.
We love sponge bob.. we watch it almost every morning, me and Michael swear she trys to say "sponge bob" she babbles a sound that sounds just like it! haha
She loves to wake up dadda in the morning, and crawl and climb all over him.
Splashing like crazy in the bathtub, and wants to pull herself up, turn over, and be all over in the tub.. its def a entertaining and hands on bath, trying to keep her from ending up under water!!
Bed time is still going well.. better than I imagined it being. We have had some long nights ever since she has mastered pulling her self up in her crib, we have had to lower it, but she still manages. Its like fun time for her because she can get up and look around, so she wants to be up and playing. But she is still sleeping in her crib, we only bring her into bed a few times, and that's when she decides to wake up between 4-6 am and I'm exhausted and hope I can get her back to sleep! She is always up at 7am.. which I'm not sure I will ever get used too. I wish she would sleep longer.
We have a doctors appointment this week, I'm interested to see her stats for this month. When I tried weighing her with me, I'm pretty sure she was right around 20lbs!! She is a chunk. We love her tons!

I recently tried out this little crafty project here although, mine did not look as vintage as this one, and I was making last minute gifts for Christmas, my plain ones had to do. I still thought they were cute, even quickly done and off centered. :)
After this, I have become quite obsessed with mason jars, although the ones at craft stores are not the awesome blue glass.. There is an easy alternative to that, that my mom- to- be- in law..(as long as Michael behaves) came across and was going to attempt.. I then found the post about it on one of my favorite blogs The little apartment.
I'm sure you can google and find other tutorials too. I think they are so cute, vintage or not, they make great vases for flowers, candle holders, the usual food storage, or flour and sugar jars to display on the counter.. they are so cute for center pieces, and hanging candle lanterns.. def already deciding its a must have for my wedding, because they are sooo DIY and soo cute and cozy looking... See...

NO I AM NOT GETTING MARRIED! Just want to make that clear.. I just think they are such a great idea for one. Jeesh. haha
Maybe I'm just obsessed with re-using glass jars/wine bottles... Ive re-used my baby food jars to make a spice rack, and an old wine bottle for another craft you can find out how to do here its easy, inexpensive and looks great on display! Cant wait to make more! (of course I have none of my original pictures) You can also see this cute and inexpensive other use for old wine bottles here. Again, because it is "wedding-ish" does not mean I'm getting married!! It just happened to go that way.
Eww, what happened?
Delayed...
I'm trying my hardest to get a Christmas post up.. how our Christmas went, and such. Also the trip to Montana. I can assure you tho, it went excellent! But since I do not have the battery to my camera I have no photos! We also documented parts of our trip with my new flip video recorder (Thanks Michael) so I will post some of those fun ones soon!
This is the ONLY picture I have available from our trip to Montana, and it was from the way home!

Spice girl?
Do these not make the cutest spice jars? I think so.. Ive been working on a project for Christmas that includes these..(these are my smaller size) I saved, washed and removed the labels from baby food jars, spray painted the lids..and here you have em.. homemade spice jars! I love being able to see all the colorful spices, rather than in its original ugly plastic container, don't you? But what would spices be without a spice rack?
The painted lids were painted with chalkboard paint, so I will be writing which spices are which with a chalk pen, then if you ever need to switch out the spices you can do so, wipe off and re-label. I'm so excited, and happy with how its turning out, so I had to post about it before its complete!

*Project completion soon to come. *
P.S. the spice rack itself was designed by my dad, and is too complicated to tell you how it was made.. although if you want one it can easily be arranged! :)

Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas.
Its finally up!! Not just the stockings, but the whole thing! I'm happy with how it looks too.
All the stockings are hung.. the last one is for decoration.
Our cute snowman couple!
Harps stocking.
Michael's.
Mine!
Driving.... me crazy.
"A backseat driver is a vehicle passenger who is not controlling the vehicle, and seems to be uncomfortable with the skills of the driver and/or wants to tutor the driver while the driver is at the wheel." -Wikipedia
I'm about to retire driving all together, which I'm sure most men would wish their wives/girlfriends would. Trust me, its not just funny jokes on TV, or movies, it happens to me in real life.. the boyfriend, back seat driver that must have been a drivers education teacher in a past life.. ugh! Let me just humor you all for a while.. here's what I generally get told while driving, keep in mind, and this is no exaggeration, this happens all within 10 minutes of being in the car together.
-Get out of this lane
-Get over!
-Don't follow too close
-Don't follow behind this car/truck/van..(whatever car is in front of me)
-Go the speed of traffic
-Go faster
-Slow down
-(some form of grunting or sighing comes in)
-Pull over so I can drive
-Watch where your going
-Turn your music down
-Its too hot in here
Very excited for our 10+ hr drive to Montana the day after Christmas. Ill be eating every crunchy snack imaginable. (He hates the sound of crunchy food being eaten). Success.
