Finished!

Remember Before Well here is After!!

My awesome dad made a custom seat for the highchair, that can be removed and changed if I choose to change the fabric! I chose a neutral gender color so it could be used for both.  When we originally got the chair the tray was falling apart, was full of gunk and the latch mechanism did not work. My dad took apart and re-glued and sanded the whole thing! (what a guy) We had to sand, and strip some of the old paint, then put a couple of coats of lacquer finish on it so it still has the same look, just nice and shiny! We bought new parts for the tray, and also added a safety strap so Harper will not fall through(it happened at a restaurant, and when i was testing this one out. haha) We removed the wheels and put some protective sliders on the bottom of the legs. Good as new! A steal for only $30!
Grandpa gave her a trial run with cheerios.. I think she's ok with it! :)

So excited for our upcoming projects this summer!

My V-day love.

Flowers sent to me..
Card:
"You take my breath away today.. and everyday."

How cute huh? I'm very much loved, and am really so lucky. this makes all  of the stressful days worth it. We celebrated Valentines day the day after, Michael surprised me with dinner at Luganos, a Italian restaurant in Salt Lake, its been rated as one of the best in SLC, and it really was amazing!Michael even arranged a baby sitter! It was nice to get dressed up and have a quiet dinner alone. We have now decided to make it a tradition to celebrate the day after. No annoying crowds, hour waits, and annoying twitterpated teens. haha
I of course did my fair share of lovey-dovey  on V-day, I made breakfast before work, with heart shaped toast! Cute. I then brought him a cute little gift home, he wanted this funny seen on tv gadget form walgreens.. its this funky sandal shaped foot scrubber for the shower... romantic huh?
It was a great V-day weekend with the love. ♥

9/10 month update!

A a few weeks late.. so 11 months is just around the corner, and I don't think I even posted about 9 months, because her 9 month check up was a week before she was 10 months.. confused? ahhh. Anyways..

Harper's 9 month check up went good, she weighed almost 20lbs! Her head, again measured big! She is in the 98 percentile! This month I saw the nurse practitioner, he said that if her head has grown more the next visit, they might start watching it a little closer... freak out moment.. but I'm not going to worry until then, she is healthy and doing great! She is at a 12 month development, so she is learning way fast, already walking from object to object, standing alone sometimes, and took a few steps.. for dad! Lucky. She says mama like crazy, and I'm perfectly fine with that. :) She babbles all the time. She Has her two bottom teeth, and her top ones are almost all the way through! She is growing up so fast! I love watching her experience new things and interact more! Just this weekend Harper had her first play date with a baby her age, Michael's friend josh and his wife Bri came over with their two boys, ages 3 and 10 months! Me and Bri were pregnant at the same time, our kids were born 3 days apart! Harper definitely was the aggressor and smacked Jace a few times and didn't want to share her toys. Its amazing to watch how they play and notice each other.  I cannot believe I will have a 1 year old!! I will be getting professional pictures done for her birthday, and eventually we will be taking family pics, even tho Michael isn't fond of the idea, I'm sure she would like to look back at pictures and not wonder why her dad is not in any of them, and then think I have some sort of photo taking obsession.  Its so hard not to take pictures of her tho, She seriously is wayyy to cute.

See..

Jobby job job.

Thats right.. Im a working mama now! I love it. There's something about not working for over a year that just gets to ya. Its nice to wake up and actually get ready for the day.. I mean wear my heels again, put on a dressy shirt, put on ALL my make up. haha Being mommy means I skip out on these things, because, well by the time I do all these things im so exhausted, Harper needs something, and it just takes too much time. If your a mom reading this and can get all glamorized everyday on top of your mommy duties, well power to ya.. but I hate doing my hair everyday, and showering exhausts me. Gross much? Anyways..
Back to my job.. I work for Reveel International as an admin. assistant/ compliance/ office gal. I basically just sit behind a computer and look cute.. easy psh. ok, ok.. all jokes aside. I do actually work. I will be taking clients through the legal disclosures and sending out emails and such, entering in all the info into the computer, etc. Its pretty easy for me since this is pretty much what I did at my last job.. which kind of helped me get this job! I also love that it is 5 min away from home!
I have to thank my lovely BF tho, he mentioned my name so I could get an interview, along with offering to stay home with Harper during the days so I could work in the morning. He just hopes having a job and being able to "get out" will make me a little happier! He's the best.  So far, so good! Harper decided that she was going to take her first steps on mamas first day at work.. show off. haha But I dont mind (that much) Her daddy gets to now experience things with her, and im gratful for that.
Im excited to see where things go with my new job, and watch the company take off! Happy? YES.

Swap it!

I'm officially OBSESSED with Swapmamas.com

Its amazing how many things I have found around the house that I don't need... in exchange for peoples other things that they don't need. haha Sounds fun huh? I think its a great way to feel like your getting something new, minus the cost! I cant wait to show you the amazing things I have got for myself, and for Harper!! (exchanging baby clothes is the best). Also there are so many mamas making handmade items that are so adorable!

You can give and get in return, or just give.. talk about good Karma! So much fun!

Boring much?

I sure feel like it. Wheres my rants, raves, complaints, and obscene language? Miss it? Good! Cuz I'm in desperate need to get some things out of my head and onto paper  blog.

You ever have those moments where you look at yourself in the mirror, talk to yourself, yell at yourself, cry at yourself(then stop because u realize how ugly you look crying) continue to talk to yourself, pinch every fat roll, suck in, smile, fix your hair.. and then throw something and say F#$!  it!  If not, then you probably think I'm insane.. (which my boyfriend would probably agree with at this moment, since he gives me other reasons to yell F#$!  it).  No one tells you.... hey, your going to meet someone, get pregnant, get fat, and then want to punch your significant other in the face.  I honestly do not think I was born with, or taught patience.. it takes everything in my power to be and have it. I mean everything in my power.. sometimes that takes more energy than losing it. So I opt for losing it.
